Dunedin Laneways Walk
2pm (1+ hour) $45 (adults)/ $5 (children)
Alluring spaces that run counter to the mainstream, Dunedin's laneways are engines of creation.
The walk starts in Vogel Street, where we highlight work that has transformed the warehouse precinct. We focus on laneways and associated spaces. We consider how art functions in these spaces, then go to No Name Alley, where businesses including Wild Dispensary http://www.wilddispensary.co.nz and Steamer Basin Brewery & Taproom http://www.steamerbasin.co.nz are building a sense of community. We finish at the taproom at 3pm (Wednesdays - Saturdays), so there's time for any cruisers amongst you to enjoy some beer and pizza (at own cost) before returning to your ship.
Meet at 88 Vogel Street, beside the bridge. Walks are offered daily except Sundays.
Contact us to book your Dunedin Laneways Walk. Include the walk name, tour date and number of pax. Card payments must be made at the Dunedin i-Site sometime before your tour. Your guide, Athol, accepts cash.
NB: There is significant crossover between this tour and our Vogel Street Walk. We encourage you to do one or the other, not both!
