Wild Dunedin Festival and walk
15th April 2016
City Walks is supporting the inaugural Wild Dunedin Festival. Join us on Friday, April 22nd, on a guided, 2hour stroll which celebrates the natural beauty of Dunedin's inner city, looks at representations of nature in glass and wood and stone, and considers how respect for nature underpins the work of innovative local businesses.
There'll be at least one surprise on the walk, with other highlights including visits to St. Paul's Cathedral and Architecture van Brandenburg. We'll finish at Taste Nature, in High Street.
We'll depart from outside the Dunedin i-Site, 50 The Octagon, on 'Earth Day' (Friday, 22nd April), at 1.30pm. Bookings are not essential, but any queries should be directed to athol@citywalks.co.nz or 027 356 9132
The walk is free, but donations are welcomed: these will be passed to the trust which governs Orokonui Ecosanctuary.
